Scholarship Details 
The International Excellence Scholarships 2014 are for the students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate masters programs offered at Faculty of Science.

Each scholarship has a value of up to £3000 to be used towards the cost of tuition fees. Successful undergraduate students will receive this for each year of their degree, subject to satisfactory progress.

Visiting Students’ Research Programme 2014 at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) conducts annual summer programmes in which talented students are introduced to research activities in the areas of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics.

Programme Details:
The programmes are held both at the Mumbai campus of the TIFR as well as at the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA), Pune during mid May to early July each year.

The VSRP-2014 will be held during the period May 12 to July 9, 2014.

VSRP for Mathematics will be held from June 9 - July 9, 2014.

The selected students are expected to work on a research project under the supervision of a TIFR researcher.

Participants are paid a monthly stipend of Rs 7000/-, Sleeper class return railway fare and are provided with shared hostel accommodation.

Junior Research Fellowship 2014-15 @ Indian Council of Historical Research

Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) invites applications for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2014-2015 from candidates for taking the eligibility examination for the award of Junior Research Fellowship of the value of Rs. 16000/- p.m. with a contingency grant of Rs. 15000/- p.a. Fellowship Details:
The term of the Fellowship shall be for a maximum period of 2 years, extendable by 1 more year in special circumstances if recommended by the Research Projects Committee.

The maximum number of Junior Research Fellowships available for the year 2014-2015 is eighty (80)

Eligibility criteria:

• Only candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by the UGC in History/ Archaeology/ Museology are eligible for this fellowship. Scholarship Details 
This scholarship provides SC/ST candidates opportunity to undertake postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects like Engineering and Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. in Indian Universities/Institutions/ Colleges.

The number of slots available under the scheme are 1000 per year. The tenure of award is for two/three years depending upon tenure of the postgraduate course.

The financial assistance available under the scheme is as follows:
