Department of Biophysics, Panjab University, Chandigarh is inviting applications for awarding Research Fellowships to students for pursuing PhD degree in the subject of Biophysics.
Scholarship Details
There are five Research Fellowships to be awarded in the subject of Biophysics for pursuing PhD degree under BSR Research Fellowship for Meritorious Students (RFMS) scheme of UGC. The Fellowship grants of Rs. 14,000 + Contingency of Rs. 12,000/- per annum is awarded initially for 1 year and further extendable.
Eligibility
The candidate must have a M.Sc. degree in Biophysics with at least 55% marks. Those qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE examination in life sciences or qualified in a PhD Entrance test or enrolled in PhD are only eligible to apply.

The candidates can apply on the prescribed format and the application should be sent to the office of the Chairperson, Department of Biophysics, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
